The Year 3/4 Cross Country

Last Wednesday the year 3/4 students walked down to Hansens Park to run the cross country on a beautiful bright Autumn day.

Last Friday was Vincent's last day with us at St Martins.  He have enjoyed learning about his home in Germany and hope he will keep in contact with us.

Discoverers 2 Weetbix Triathlon Competitors

Wonderful to see so many of the Discoverers Pod 2 training hard and taking part in the Weetbix Triathlon this year. 

First we did the swim which was 100 metres.  Then the bike ride was 6 km. Finally the 2km run.  At the end you all receive a medal.  Written by Jake.

Rock Day

Last week Sam, Coopers Dad came into our class and taught us about Rocks.  It was interesting to 

learn about all the different kinds of Rocks.  All the rocks he bought in came from different parts of New Zealand.  We found out why some rocks are lighter than others like pumice.  He was even kind enough to let us to keep one giant one.

The highlight was building the volcanoes!!!
